The plan was for a day / two day stop over in Bangkok then onto Singapore. That was the plan, in reality I spent four days in Bangkok, sweating buckets and having gastro troubles, yep all my transit time was taken up with visits to the loo and the local pharmacy. Finally my health was restored and I jumped on the plane to Singapore. As the hotels and hostels tend to be 85% booked up throughout the year I had booked a cheep room in the little India district, this was not my first choice as I wanted to stay in Chinatown but could not find a place at the right price. By cheap I mean a room that was costing me 35 pounds a night, 3 times more expensive than I had become accustom to paying. Welcome back to the real world Kev! Due to earlier events I now only had two and a half days in Singapore before my next scheduled flight.
